The Institute for Humane Studies cordially invites you to a reception for alumni, faculty, and friends in the San Francisco area on Friday, March 28, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Garden Room on the Clark-Kerr Campus at the University of California, Berkeley.

This reception is a great opportunity for IHS alumni, faculty, and friends in the Bay Area to connect with one another as well as the outstanding faculty and graduate students participating in the IHS Social Change Weekend Workshop.  We will also be welcoming friends from America"s Future Foundation, a liberty-friendly organization with a presence in your area that we hope you will get to know.  Professors John Majewski (History, UC Santa Barbara) and Leda Cosmides (Evolutionary Psychology, UC Santa Barbara) will be in attendance, and Nigel Ashford, Anne Fortier, John Thrasher, and Laura Schonmuller will be your hosts from IHS.

You are also welcome to bring friends whom you believe should know about IHS.  If you bring friends, please RSVP their names and details when you register, or encourage them to register themselves.  We"ll have free drinks and appetizers for all attendees.  Dress is casual.
