Social skills and competencies are crucial to entrepreneurs and business leaders. Greater social awareness and social competencies enhance your ability to build “social capital” which is the sum of potential resources you may gain from your relationships with others (contacts, connections, reputation). Women who achieve success in leadership and entrepreneurship tend to rate highly on their social awareness and social skills. The following survey is designed to assess social awareness in different situations. The purpose is to better understand how business women behave and feel in a wide range of social situations.
