Dear Parent or Guardian:
We are excited to be implementing a multiage format in our lower elementary classrooms.
At present we have three First/Second classrooms and three Third/Fourth classrooms.
The multiage approach is a research-based instructional design that respects each learner as an individual with his/her own learning style and readiness level.
Multiage classrooms include students of various ages, and learning occurs on a continuum.
Multiage classrooms offer increased developmental diversity, allowing students a greater range of academic movement.
They provide consistency as students move through their early years in our school setting.
Multiage classrooms allow for more efficient team teaching, planning, collaboration, and problem solving among teachers.
We would appreciate your input to improve communication regarding multiage classrooms.
To give your thoughts, please complete this brief survey.
If you have more than one child attending, please complete a separate survey for each child.
We value your input and thank you for your time.
