Please help us decide the best title for this proposed book, the latest in the Social Venture Network Series, by David Mager and Joe Sibilia.
The purpose of this book is to provide the leaders of small or medium-sized organizations with simple tools to make continuous, cost-effective improvements in their sustainability practices
— practices that diffuse into the organizational DNA and become fixtures, shifting their prevailing corporate culture. The book will help readers develop an intuitive understanding of the principal functions that any organization must engage in order to develop
sustainable practices, such as facility selection and maintenance, energy and water use, purchasing, and waste disposal.
Many how-to books build the reader’s skill set from one chapter to the next. By the end of such books, proficient readers can then put the new skills into effect. This work will take a different approach. Individual chapters will be designed to act as stand-alone
sets of action steps on particular topics. The book will be supplemented by a Web site that acts as a repository of all information on the topic, searchable by key word, with interactive questions and answers functionality in a 'user generated' module.
