The Michigan Department of Education is gathering multiple ways to examine the performance of teacher education candidates and teacher preparation programs. The four sources include: Student Teacher Exit survey; the Supervisor's survey; Michigan Tests for Teacher Certification scores; and Principal feedback on new teachers. Understanding that supervisors may work with candidates in a variety of settings and time periods, and that we are considering the skills of beginning professionals, please complete the survey for each student teacher/intern.
