Volunteer Management Landscape Survey

As many volunteer managers and administrators already know, the impact of volunteerism is stronger with a well-managed volunteer program. To this end, the Serve Illinois Commission is charged to "... promote and support community service...to stimulate new volunteerism...and to serve as a resource...and an advocate..." for the many volunteers and volunteer administrators in Illinois.

The first of its kind, this survey and the results generated will serve as a baseline snapshot of the "landscape" of volunteerism and volunteer management in Illinois. With your help in completing the entire survey and sharing some basic information about you and your organization's volunteer program, we can together increase the efficiency and effectiveness of volunteers across the Land of Lincoln.

Please Note: This survey is estimated to take 15-20 minutes. A few of the questions are "mandatory," meaning that you must enter or select a response in order to proceed with the survey. We anticipate that these questions will be easily available to you and are fundamental pieces of information needed for our survey analysis. However, for several questions, it will be helpful to have the following information available:

* basic volunteer program data (number/type of volunteers and volunteer positions)

* organizational and program budget information

Your response to this survey is completely anonymous and voluntary. Thank you for your time helping to improve and expand volunteerism in all its forms for our great state.
