You may have recently heard about the launch of "A Woman's Nation," a multifaceted national study of the economic state of women in America, and the impact of years of economic changes on our social, cultural, work, and government institutions. "A Woman's Nation" is being led by Maria Shriver, in partnership with The Center for American Progress, Time magazine, and others. You can read more about it by clicking here: http://www.nywici.org/features/blogs/desk
Because the project covers many of the topics relevant to professional women, and New York Women in Communications might potentially develop programs or get involved in the dialogue around it, we'd like to know more about how you, our members, feel about the issues raised. Specifically, we're interested in your real-life experience around work/family issues, pay equality, childcare policies, and more. Please respond to the following questions and let us know if you can share actual relevant experience, creative solutions, thoughts, or ideas related to the project's core issues.
