Please take a moment to help us improve your experience traveling SH6/FM 1960 and FM 529.
This questionnaire asks about your use of SH6/FM 1960 and FM 529, within the study area shown in Figure 1, and what you think about potential solutions. The primary term to describe what we
are interested in is access management.
Access management is the systematic control of the location, spacing, design, and operations of driveways, median openings, interchanges and street connections to a roadway. Innovative intersections
also will be considered as a part of this study.
Innovative intersections provide an opportunity to improve the capacity and operational efficiency of intersections without building grade-separated interchanges (bridges and overpasses). Grade-separated
interchanges are expensive, not context sensitive, and often complicate the local accessibility. Unlike grade-separated interchanges that may preclude access, innovative intersection implementation creates opportunities to better control access or vehicle
movements near intersections by the nature of their design.
We need your input to help identify solutions.
