A changing workplace requires all individuals to have some postsecondary education when seeking employment that will provide adequate financial support. Today over 80 percent of jobs require some postsecondary experience according to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Developmentās report, 2006-16 Employment Projections and Occupational Employment Statistics.
We are seeking input from middle- and high school-age students and parents of middle- and high school-age students.
As parents, we want the best possible life for our children. And as young people, we have many plans and dreams for our future. With your help, we hope to discover additional ways to encourage more eighth-, ninth- and tenth-grade students to make the best possible choices when registering for academic courses required for high school graduation. These choices play a significant role in the number and level of opportunities open to you following graduation.
