The 2010-2011 ACORN Standards state that "medical company representatives shall provide evidence of education and instruction that ensures safe conduct and practice within the perioperative environment." (Standard 24, standard statement 8).
3.6 Operating Theatre Protocols Update is now available. Please complete all sections of this form. Following the training participants will be requested to forward a digital photo, so they can be issued an MTAA ID card providing evidence of completing the ACORN approved training. It is the responsibility of each participant to provide his/her photo to MTAA following this request. Each participant will also receive a Certificate of Participation with their ID card.
Information submitted on this form will be used to determine the number of e-learning accounts your company requires. Participants may access the training for up to 12 months. Additional users may be added at any time. The sliding scale rates are available on the MTAA website.
Upon completing the registration form, your nominated contact person will be asked to return a .csv file detailing the first name, last name and email address of each participant who will access the training. Your company will then be invoiced for the total number of e-learning accounts. If you have any queries, please contact the Professional Development Manager on (02)9900 0650 or email reception@mtaa.org.au
