A Tufts University research team is assisting the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) in the creation of a Master Plan for pedestrian, bicycle and recreational access between the end of the Neponset River Trail in Port Norfolk and the Harborwalk at UMass Boston. In anticipation of the creation of a new park at the former Shaffer Paper site, a study of missing links in the recreational open space system along the Dorchester Shore is needed. The Tufts University team is collecting public input about recreational access needs, which may affect the design of trails, parkland and other connectors. The survey should not take more than 10 minutes. Please share it with your friends and neighbors.
Please provide your honest input. All information will be used specifically and solely by the Tufts University Research Team. Any published data from this survey will be aggregated. Your responses will remain completely anonymous.
