"I made mine through hard work, so others need to do what I did."
The problems of the African-American Community are arising because of African Americans who have recently moved to our community.
The problem is not what others do or don't do for us; the problem is us and what we don't do for each other.
I don't understand the negativity.  Madison has far fewer problems than just about any other town in the country.

African Americans allow those outside our Community to frame arguments that influence our Community.
The Republican Party believes we will vote Democrat, so why bother addressing the needs of African Americans.
The Democratic Party believes they don't need to address the needs of African Americans because African Americans will always vote for Democratic candidates because we have no alternative.
