Thank you for participating in this parish-wide survey. I strongly believe that Catholic education is a key to a successful, faith-filled future for our children and for our Church. In January of 2011, I appointed a Strategic Planning Committee, A Mission of Excellence for Catholic Schools, to study our diocesan-owned and operated Catholic schools. The purpose of the committee is to gather information and make recommendations to me that will chart our course for the future. The ultimate goal of this effort is to make our schools more affordable and accessible and to improve and enrich Catholic education for our children.
As a valued member of our diocese, your perceptions and opinion of Catholic education are important to our study; whether or not you currently have a child enrolled in one our schools. I am grateful for your honest feedback, and want you to know that the committee will carefully consider your responses.
