Artists' Advancement & the Deaf Identity

The following survey, conducted by a graduate student in the Programs in Arts Administration at Teachers College Columbia University, pertains to thesis research on members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities, their interest in the arts, and their motivation to pursue careers in the arts.

Respondents are asked to use the space provided to answer each question to the best of their ability. Some questions require that answers be marked, others typewritten. At the end of the survey, there is space provided for additional comments. This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Please be aware that all respondents are kept anonymous, and all responses are completely confidential. Your answers will be collected and the results will be included in the thesis. However, your name and identity will not be shared. Thank you for your time and effort.
