The Cincinnati Zoo had four male Malayan Tigers born at the Zoo on March 21, 2009 to proud parents Jalil and Hutan. Now we need your help to name them!
Malayan Tigers are one of six living subspecies of tiger. They wear the characteristic striping pattern of black stripes on orange and white that provides excellent camouflage in the forest. They are only found in tropical forests in the southern tip of Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia.
Recent counts showed there are 600-800 Malayan tigers in the wild, making it an endangered species.
Contest ends July 17, 2009 and the winning names will be announced on July 24, 2009.
